Details on The WWE Futures of Heyman, HBK and Lesnar

According to F4WOnline.com, Shawn Michaels is expected to appear on WWE TV heading into SummerSlam, where he will be in Triple H's corner for his match against Brock Lesnar.

As far as Lesnar is concerned, it is believed that his current deal with WWE is set to expire after WrestleMania 29, and at this point many people in the company expect WWE to offer Lesnar a contract extension.

While this would be an expensive move for WWE, the company feels it can utilize Lesnar to sell more high profile matches beyond WrestleMania, and Lesnar could continue to help put over other WWE talents.

As for Paul Heyman, his current deal with WWE is rumored to expire at SummerSlam, however it is expected that he will continue to work with WWE alongside Brock Lesnar.

Would Shawn Michaels Wrestle Again?

In an interview with The Miami Herald, Shawn Michaels revealed whether or not he would ever wrestle again.

He said: "Obviously, I want to do things that will help. You don't want to bring me back for no other reason. It would depend on what it was. I am not as young as I once was. Do I think about that stuff? Yeah. It's one of those things that I know that I can do it. At the same time I can also drink a six pack and be able to drive home, but do I want to give that a whirl? No. Yeah, I can fall off this or go through this, but then I end up getting hurt and can't do my other show. I have other responsibilities. I can't take piano lessons with my daughter because I'm up with my knee in a brace and pushed my knees too far. I do have to give more thought to that kind of stuff. I can't just go in with reckless abandonment. At least at this point nobody has even asked about that stuff, so I haven't really given it that much thought."

Backstage Plans For 'HBK Appreciation Night'

Monday's RAW has been advertised as "Shawn Michaels Appreciation Night," but it appears that this will be non-televised and for the live crowd only. There had been speculation that WWE would use the appreciation night angle as a vehicle to have Brock Lesnar appear and get heat by attacking Michaels. Of course, plans can change and it's very possible Shawn will appear before the live crowd as he will be backstage at the tapings anyways. We'll keep you posted as we hear more.

WWE Officials Impressed By Former Star on Raw 1,000

According to F4WOnline.com, WWE officials were said to be impressed with Billy Gunn's interactions with Shawn Michaels on Raw 1,000, and the feeling is that the former New Age Outlaw will likely receive at least one televised match in WWE at some point down the line.

On the other hand, many backstage in WWE felt Sean "X-Pac" Waltman did not appear in great shape on the show, so it's likely he will not appear on TV again in the future.

HBK Speaks on His Future, Would Punk Have Been on First Raw?

The Miami Herald recently conducted an interview with WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels, and the following are some highlights.

Although he makes some wrestling-related appearances, don’t look for the Hall of Famer to renege on his retirement from in-ring competition.

“I certainly don’t get the itch,” Michaels said. “That is something that does not happen to me. I think I do get satisfied when I get to go back to do an appearance and get to be a special referee or just an autograph session. Things like that, which is something I really enjoy. Certainly, I don’t stay on the sidelines longing to be in the spotlight, but the time that I am, it’s always a great deal of fun.

I still try to do a good job and try not to phone it in. It’s almost like two different parts of your life. The first part of your life is geared toward one direction, and the second part of your life is more geared toward another. I’m guessing that is sort of where I’m at, but not forsaking or forgetting the first part by any stretch. I’m appreciative for it and thankful for it.”

[On Punk making the claim that he would have been part of the very first Raw in 1993:]

“I certainly understand the point he was trying to make,” Michaels said. “It was a different time, and there was a different attitude toward us guys, but because he is a fighter and doesn’t take a lot of guff from folks — for the same reasons that he is on now and the same reason he accomplished what he has in his career now, which is a testament to him — for all of those reasons, all the good reasons and positives because he is a fighter, I think he would have been on the first show.

I think I understand the point he was trying to make. It was a different time. There were stereotypes that needed to be broken back then, and thankfully, it was done. Hopefully, it has made a difference for Punk and the others. I think because of the type of dude he is, I don’t think he would have had anything to worry about.”

Miami Herald Article Hints At Undertaker's Return at Raw 1,000

The Miami Herald has posted a new interview with WWE Hall of Famer Jerry "The King" Lawler, during which both Lawler and the article tease the return of The Undertaker on Raw 1,000 next week. The following is an excerpt from the article:

The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels wrestled on episode 1, a one-hour show emanating from the Grand Ballroom at Manhattan Center Studios, a small New York City theater. Both are expected to be involved in episode 1,000.

It goes without saying,” Lawler said. “Undertaker is literally a piece of work. This guy is amazing. There’s never been anyone like him and probably never will be again.

“So many words come to mind — dedication, perseverance and a love for this business. You really have to have those kind of things to last anywhere near as long as the Undertaker has lasted and to still be on top and relevant in this business today after 1,000 episodes of a weekly TV show is hard to imagine.”

The Story Behind Sunny's Erratic Behavior + WWF Firing

As reported earlier, WWE Hall of Famer Tammy "Sunny" Sytch checked into a rehabilitation program sponsored by WWE on Monday morning. She was admitted to an emergency room late Friday night for consuming nearly two gallons of vodka (figure according to RF Video), and her boyfriend, independent wrestler Damien Darling, insisted that she seek professional help.

According to Tammy, she attributes her erratic behavior in recent months, which has led to her no-showing multiple wrestling events she was scheduled to perform on, to depression stemming from loneliness. The couple have a long-distance relationship as they only spend time together on weekends and on Mondays she often becomes depressed and subsequently behaves in an erratic manner through the week. The website says she has had "several bad Fridays" but last week's ordeal was serious enough that Darling gave her an ultimatum; either enter rehab or they were through.

RF Video was scheduled to film Sytch's wrestling road travels last week but her untimely fall of the wagon nixed plans. She then offered to participate in a "shoot" interview on Sunday, which was more or less an intervention, as she spilled her soul on her myriad of problems. She was asked on at least three occasions whether she was comfortable laying everything out on the table and said she wanted to go public with her personal issues not to mention that she considered it the first step in cleansing her inner being.

In an obituary for Sytch's late boyfriend Chris Candido, it was noted that her refusal to enter a rehabilitation center led to her premature termination from WWE, then known as the World Wrestling Federation, in the summer of 1998. After repeated no-shows and questionable excuses, particularly when she claimed to executive Linda McMahon that she had miscarried a child and was unable to produce medical documentation, was asked to enter rehab. She refused and was fired as a result. She entered rehab at least once years later, but was unable to cease her substance abuse.

As noted above and earlier here on the website, Sytch participated in a very emotional interview with RF Video prior to entering a rehabilitation facility on Monday where she addressed her variety of personal battles (available soon exclusively on DVD at www.rfvideo.com or watch instantly at www.rfvideonow.com). A video preview of the interview has been released, which shows her accusing her former boyfriend (a police officer from New Jersey) of domestic violence, as well as her disclosing her belief years ago that she would die and making drug runs to Tijuana, Mexico. Quotes from the video preview are as follows:

"Everybody has heard about my "personal demons" in the past [voice cracking], but nobody really knows the truth about it."

"...on Tuesday, I'm still good and then by like Wednesday, I just, I crack, 'cause I hate to be without him. I hate to be alone. I live on the beach. I go to the beach every day. But, I'm still just a depressed mess."

"...seriously, the three most important people in my life, that I ever had, are gone. So it's always going to play a part, it's always going to hit that depression spot."

"...I was afraid for my life half the time. It was really bad. It really wasn't a good...wasn't a good thing at all. [Tearfully pauses] On a daily basis I would be told that I was fat, ugly and worthless. Almost daily, I was hit. A couple times I ended up in the hospital..."

"...but like I said, there have been years in my life where I wouldn't pick up a drink. For years..."

"Do you want to know how I got my first drink? With my "then boyfriend," Shawn Michaels."

"In my twenties, I once said to myself, I'll probably die at 36 because I wanted to be just like Marilyn Monroe. And I actually looked in the mirror and said that to myself...because back then with the pills and drinking, everybody was crazy on the road..."

"If you think about it, when you're drunk, you don't even know what you're doing. You have no idea. I don't think I'm violent, I could be wrong..."

"...it's a really hard decision to actually take this step. Don't ever let anybody think it's not because it's...and being that I was there once, and I know what it's like. It's tortuous. It really is."

"...turned me on to, "Hey, gotta hit Tijuana with me." So first couple trips, I was making with Louie [Spicolli] down in Tijuana. After he passed away, I was going by myself, and I was taking orders, not saying for who, of what people needed from Tijuana."

"...I said Davey Boy. I'm like, "Davey!" And I hear, "No, it's Diana." And right away, my heart sunk. I'm like, "What's up Diana?" She goes, this is exactly what she said, "Davey just died."

"...between Rick Rude, Curt Hennig, Davey, Owen, it's just..." "...how did it turn from New Jack saying he's going to be in New Jersey next month, "I'm going to take care of him," to me asking him to...I'm not even going to say the words."

"...and I was getting tossed by Beth. So I grabbed Victoria and I grabbed Beth Phoenix and I said, "Listen, get me out, fast."

"...the screwjob happened. Bret stormed into Vince's office and was out within like three minutes. Immediately, Vince walks out of the room with a black eye. You don't get a black eye that quick. If you get hit, it takes a little bit of time for the idea to get black. Three minutes is not enough time. My theory..."
